The objective of the measurement activity was the comparative analysis of the microclimatic characteristics of different urban spatial typologies, with particular attention to the effects of spatial use, built density, and green infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">During the campaign, three locations with distinct characteristics were investigated: an urban square, a densely built narrow street, and a larger park area. Measurements were carried out on the first day in the square, and on the second day in the narrow street and the park. At each location, three repeated measurement cycles were conducted, each lasting 30 minutes, allowing for a more precise capture of short-term microclimatic dynamics in the given environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">From \u00d3buda University, the fieldwork involved Dr. habil. Vikt\u00f3ria Sug\u00e1r, Dr. Zsuzsanna F\u00e1cz\u00e1nyi PhD, Prof. Dr. Istv\u00e1n Kistelegdi, Dr. Attila Kerekes PhD, Dr. Aur\u00e9l Ben\u00e1rd DLA, P\u00e9ter Kiss, Marcell N\u00e1n\u00e1si, and Martin Kolman as researchers and lecturers. The work was carried out in close collaboration with colleagues from Osaka, who not only provided professional support but also significant assistance in transporting measurement equipment between sites and adapting to local conditions. This collaboration was essential for efficient data collection and the accurate implementation of measurement protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">The experiences gained during the campaign contribute to the comparative analysis of different urban situations and to a more precise understanding of the cooling effects of green areas and spatial design solutions. Differences between the sites were already clearly perceptible during fieldwork and can later be quantitatively validated through data processing and analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">The significance of the campaign also lies in enabling the validation and further development of measurement methodologies in an international context, under different climatic and urban structural conditions, thereby strengthening the generalisability and applicability of the research outcomes of the GreenQual project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
