We are pleased to report that the first workshop of the GreenQual international research project has taken place in Krakow!
The aim of the GreenQual project is to improve the microclimate of our cities through the expansion of green spaces, to measure and model the resulting positive impacts, and to contribute, among other things, to the fight against the urban heat island effect.
Alongside the team from Óbuda University’s Ybl Faculty, our partners also participated, representing the University of Agriculture in Krakow, F4STER Ltd., and Osaka University.
The professional program included not only exciting presentations, inspiring discussions, and joint planning, but also on-site visits, which were an important step in advancing the selection of research target areas. This further strengthened the practical foundation of the project.
We would like to thank all participants for their active contribution and commitment. We believe that through the power of collaboration we can achieve real progress in sustainability and environmental quality.
